The Review launches new website

VANKLEEK HILL – The Review has a new website.

After a few months of development, The Review has launched www.thereview.ca.

While the website’s name might not be very different from the original www.thereview.on.ca, the new website itself is.

The website has a new look, and news ways of grouping stories. Stories are grouped by community (with all Hawkesbury stories on a Hawkesbury page and all St-Eugene stories on a St-Eugene page) and by keywords like crime, environment and health.

Among the new features will be the ability for readers to register and upload their own pictures and content. The Review staff will be able to view the content and release it for immediate publication online. Some reader-content will be used in the paper edition as well.

Review journalists will also be hosting blogs at thereview.ca and much more multimedia content is being planned.

This original website (thereview.on.ca) will remain online for a while for reference purposes and will eventually automatically redirect surfers to the new website.
